Mike Detoy joined the fire service in 2009 and has spent the last 12 working for the City of Riverside Fire Department. He has served on the union board since 2015 and was appointed President of Local 1067 Riverside City Firefighters in 2023. Mike served as a Trustee on the California Firefighters Benefits Trust for 4 years prior to the merger. In 2017, he graduated from California Baptist University with a Master of Public Administration degree.
Mike also serves on City Council for the City of Hermosa Beach since 2019. Prior to the fire service, Mike attended Santa Clara University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Finance.
